InsurTech Boston Registration Terms and Conditions

These are the terms that govern your registration, attendance, and participation in InsurTech Boston (“Event” as applicable), which is being held in-person May 24, 2023. By registering for the Event, you are agreeing to these terms. If you are registering on behalf of another, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person attending is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration you are warranting that you have made the attendee aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.

Copying, Recording, & Live Streaming Prohibited

All intellectual property rights in and to the Event, content, trademarks, product names, and all materials distributed at, in connection with, or after the Event are owned by Applied Systems, Inc., its affiliates, or the sponsors, exhibitors, or speakers presenting at the Event (as applicable).

Participants may not copy, take screenshots, record, live-stream, or broadcast audio or video of the Event or its sessions in its entirety or portions thereof.  You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any written materials or video, if any, provided by Applied Systems, Inc., its affiliates, sponsors, exhibitors, or speakers without express written permission.

Code of Conduct

We strive to provide a positive, fun, and engaging experience for all participants.  We ask that you conduct yourself in a professional manner, even as we participate virtually, to create an environment where all participants can collaborate, learn, and network in a productive and respectful environment.

The following behavior is inappropriate and will not be tolerated:

  • Threatening, disruptive, or disorderly conduct or comments, including that which is inappropriate for a professional setting.
  • Harassment of a participant of any kind, including that which is based on a participant's race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or appearance, whether by conduct, language, or other action.
  • Uninvited contact or following, or disrespecting the boundaries of other attendees (including through jokes or imagery).
  • Soliciting or “suitcasing” if you are not registered as a vendor, exhibitor, or sponsor.

Such behavior may result in removal from the Event and other penalties. Participants asked to stop such behavior are expected to comply immediately. If you feel that a participant is not following this Code of Conduct, please submit a report with your name, contact details, and a description of the situation to info@ivans.com to report a violation. This reporting function is not intended to address emergency or criminal behavior and in such cases you should contact the police, fire, medical, or other appropriate authorities.

Privacy & Personal Information

The Event exhibitors and sponsors are provided with personal attendee information. This may include attendee name, title, company, email address, and physical mailing address. Attendees in North America automatically opt in to receive email communications from select sponsors and/or exhibitors during the registration process, whereas attendees abroad must opt in to receive them. The use of those communications and information is subject to the privacy policies and terms of such exhibitor and/or sponsor. Use and disclosure of personal information may be outside of the territory in which you reside and European Economic Area for these purposes.

You acknowledge and agree that Applied Systems, Inc. and its affiliates may use your personal information pursuant to its privacy policy  may use your personal information pursuant to its privacy policy.

Photos & Videos

We will take photos and videos during the Event. By participating in the Event, you grant Applied Systems, Inc. and its affiliates the right to use your name, company affiliation, and photograph for such purposes including, but not limited to, posting or publishing on news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, pursuant to the Appearance Release & License Agreement.

By registering, attendees, agree to the Appearance Release & License Agreement.

Program Changes

All efforts will be made to present the Event program presented as publicized.  Applied Systems, Inc., its affiliates, sponsors, exhibitors, and speakers, however, reserve the right to change or cancel any sessions, presentations, scheduling, plans, or other items relating directly or indirectly to the Event without prior notice and without liability for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois and the parties agree that all disputes arising out of or in connection with this agreement shall be brought only in the federal and state courts located in Will County, Illinois.
